This electronic version of the Essential for Living: Professional Practitioner's Handbook, like its paper twin, provides information and guidance on this functional skills curriculum, assessment, and skill-tracking instrument for students with moderate-to-severe disabilities, including, but not limited to autism. It is especially useful for learners with limited communication repertoires, minimal daily living skills, or severe problem behavior. The handbook provides the necessary information about this useful assessment and curriculum. It should be accompanied by either a print version of an ARP (Assessment & Record of Progress Manual) or the EFL App if practitioners wish to conduct the assessment and use the curriculum with their learners.
